Trick ‘n Treats Macarons

Last week I came across Trick ‘n Treats. A modern candy store in Utrecht (the Netherlands) they have a perfect selection chocolate, cookies, macarons, cupcakes, candy and a lot more. Since this store is not around the corner for me (which is kind of a good thing for my health and weight) I was so happy to find out that I could order these treats online. I decided to try the macarons. I picked two boxes filled with a selection of 5 and 8 ‘Classics’  in flavors Vanilla, Chocolate, Pistachio , Cappuccino, Hazel, Caramel, Rose and Violet. I’m in love with the Pistachio and the chocolate ones have that very rich, perfect chocolate flavor. All flavors are amazing and a real joy to taste.

For dutch readers: Ik heb een cadeau bon van 5 EUR weg te geven, die je kan besteden in de Trick ´n Treats winkel op de Steenweg 9 te Utrecht.

70′s Vintage Ring – Sarah Coventry

top left and right and below right pictures are © lydiasvintage

I discovered this ring over at Lydias Vintage where you can find rustic and wonderful vintage finds. Behind the shop are two sisters, Lydia and Leslie, who LOVE everything vintage. “We love to find these vintage items and be able to put them up on our site for everyone.” More information about Lydia and Leslie can be found here.

I’ve been very interested in geometric shapes and this ring gives of that geometric style. The colors of the three rhinestones fit perfectly with the gold and will fit right in with the a fall/winter fashion trends.

Sarah Coventry jewelry was named after the granddaughter of Charles H. Stuart, the founder of the company. It was established in 1949 and is recognized as the oldest direct selling jewelry company in the world.

Orange + Verdigris

Orange and Verdigris mixed together is such a surprising and fun combination. I love it! I think Orange is a perfect Fall/Autumn color and the verdigris refers to the colors of the ocean in summer and spring with a vintage touch, almost like holding on to sweet summer memories. I think this combination will be perfect in (transition to) fall.

I made these Vintage Orange Teardrop Earrings with Verdigris Flower Coins and there are a few left so grab them for Fall while you can!
