So.. it has been crazy. Since My Heartsy.me deal ran in the beginning of September I have been very busy with XOXII | Shop. Orders coming in, packaging, making sure I have enough supplies and stock ready to ship. I was very organized, a bit frantic and sometimes stressed out,  but I had a comfortable routine.

Then on October 5th my Boyfriend got hit by a car and since then my days have been a mess. The first week I have dedicated all of my time to him and taking care of him. And once he was getting better I started to feel worse.
Orders got stacked up and when I had the time to sit down and do some work I really did not feel like it, It felt like I had to move a mountain before I could get back on track. I don’t know why. I like my work and I am very proud of it. But somehow I just couldn’t get the energy together to move that mountain.

It is a very typical thing in my life though. I have always been side tracked when something intense happened in my personal life, I would drop everything and anything, I’d loose all the energy and dedication for the projects I was working on. And totally lost myself in the personal situation. I have quit a lot of things when I got into a place like this, mostly studies or even relationships.  I always had the feeling the only thing that could get me back on track was a fresh start and I would literally clean the house, search for new challenges and start going into a new direction.

It’s a pattern and I want to beat it this time. I love what I do way to much. I do  not want to let it slip away from me this time. I will not give up. This post might sound dramatic but I think everyone has his own battles and own patterns in dealing with things in life. And for the first time I feel that I really need to push trough my cycle and just move that mountain, to get back on my track. Not starting over, just pushing trough and making it work.

Right now while typing this I still feel a bit lost, I need to get a daily routine back up again. It’s a pleasure and a pain being able to work so much from home and being able to plan your own “work” time.

I will be alright though. I love all my XOXII customers and readers or followers, you are the best! It’s so humbling to get thank you notes and loving words from you.
This is a very personal blog post and I needed to write it down because it is a significant part of my life at the moment and I think it’s all part of the process of trying to do what you love and being my own boss.
