Cooking up a great Pyrite Necklace
I wanted to share my personal recipe for my Fools Gold – Pyrite – Hand Blown Glass Orb / Sphere Necklace
1. Get some raw pyrite and hammer a bit on it (yes destroy those sparkling rocks, a little) please do place a towel between the pieces of pyrite and the hammer so the tiny pieces will not go flying around. One or two strikes with the hammer are enough. Put all of the hammered pyrite in a strainer above a bowl.
2. Strain the pyrite above the small bowl and you will start to see tiny sparkling pieces falling down. Make sure it all lands into the bowl otherwise you will have a glitter room within no time.
3. Put the tiny pieces of pyrite which have landed into the bowl in the glass orb with tweezers. And string a chain or wire of your choice trough the holes. Finish/close off the holes with tiny gold discs.
4. Tada! you got your necklace (of course add some closing clasps to the end so it can be worn)
Happy Pyrite cooking… the necklace can be found here read more about pyrite and the necklace here
